Installing the seal for the tailgate

• Remove remnants of the sealant from the sheet metal flange.
• Clean the sheet metal flange.
• Replace the seal for the tailgate (1).

  Parts:  Seal for the tailgate

• Mount the seal for the tailgate (1) beginning from the top center.
• Make sure that the tailgate seal (1) is positioned correctly against all adjacent trim panels.

  Check 

• Check the closing function of the tailgate.

  Result 

  » Tailgate does not close.

  Measure

• Make sure that the tailgate seal (1) is positioned correctly against all adjacent trim panels.
