Installing the boot of the center bearing
- Apply an even coating of grease to longitudinal splines on propeller shaft.
- Slide the bellows (1)
onto the groove (2)
and make sure the fit is secure.
Consumable Lubricating grease 100 g, 83 19 0 447 Olistamoly 2 LN 584 LO Tube 919 - If necessary, replace the clamping ring (1)
and insert it into the front prop shaft (2)
.
Parts: Clamping ring
- Slide the front prop shaft (3)
onto the longitudinal splines of the rear prop shaft (4)
in accordance with the mark you made.
The marks (arrows) must be flush.
- Slide the bellows (1)
onto the groove (2)
and make sure the fit is secure.
- Slide the prop shaft together with them in the arrow direction.
