  • 11 65 020 Removing and installing/replacing turbocharger (840i coupe and Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Remove turbocharger
    • When replacing the turbocharger: Dismount the oil coolant lines
    • Prepare for the installation of the turbocharger
    • Installing turbocharger
  • 11 65 803 Replace electrical controller drive for wastegate (840i and 840i xDrive coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Remove the electric wastegate valve actuator
    • Install electric wastegate valve actuator
    • For electrical wastegate valve controller: teaching in and checking end stops with the diagnostic system (after vehicle diagnosis)
  • 11 65 020 Removing and installing/replacing turbocharger (840i xDrive coupe and Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Remove turbocharger
    • When replacing the turbocharger: Dismount the oil coolant lines
    • Prepare for the installation of the turbocharger

    • Remove the turbocharger for the cylinders 5 to 8
    • When replacing the left-hand turbocharger: Remount components
    • Insert the turbocharger for the cylinders 5 to 8
  • 11 65 048 Removing and installing/replacing both turbochargers (M850i xDrive coupe)
    • Removing the left and right turbocharger
    • When replacing the left and right turbocharger: Remount components
    • Installing both turbochargers
  • 11 65 180 Removing and installing/replacing top heat shield (M850i xDrive coupe/convertible/Gran Coupe sedan)
    • Remove upper heat shield
    • Install heat shield, top
  • 11 65 185 Removing and installing/replacing lower heat shield (M850i xDrive coupe)
    • Remove lower heat shield
    • Install lower heat shield

    • Removing front heat shield

    • Removing the blow-off valve of cylinder bank 1
    • Installing the blow-off valve of cylinder bank 1

    • When replacing the right turbocharger: Remount components
