Remove exhaust system

Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

Unlock connector (1).
Disconnect the connector (1) of the exhaust flap (2).

Unlock connector (1).

Use a suitable jack to secure the exhaust system (1) from falling down. If the exhaust system is drained while under tension, there is the risk that the retaining bolts (2) will break.

Loosen nuts (1).

Lay ground strap to one side.

Slide circlips (2) to the rear.
Guide out and remove the exhaust system with the help of three persons.
Remove the exhaust system towards the rear.
