Remove front door window glass

- Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to PREPARING THE SPECIAL TOOL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER FRONT WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Refer to RELEASING THE FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT MODULE BRACKET .
- The front door window glass must be opened as shown so that the screws (1) are accessible.
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Release the screws (1) (turn to the right).NOTE: To provide a better overview: Schematic diagram with partially hidden components.
- Lift holder (1) onto the lug (2) in arrow direction.
- Guide the front door window glass (3) out to the top.
