Removing speaker trim

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING POWER WINDOW SWITCH (DOOR TRIM PANEL REMOVED) .

• Drill out welded connections (1) on the door trim panel (2).

• Mask off handle (1) in area (2) with a piece of tape.

• Drill out welded connection (1) on the door trim panel (2).
• Loosen screws (3).

• Gently pull handle (1) in the direction of the arrow and pull out the speaker trim (2).
  NOTE: The speaker trim is destroyed during removal and cannot be reused.
