Removing the top partition panel trim panel
Precondition
- Convertible top is open.
Convertible top flap is in open position.
Wind deflector is removed.
Rear seat backrest is folded.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE INNER DOOR SILL COVER STRIP ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP AT REAR OUTER LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR SEAT BENCH .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SEAT BELT FINISHER STRIP .
- Refer to REMOVING SIDE TRIM PANEL, REAR LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR HEAD RESTRAINT .
- Get the set of special tools 0 493 752 (00 9 329)
ready.
- Unclip the lid (2) on the top partition panel trim panel (1) with a suitable tool.
- Loosen screws (3)

- Remove the buffer (2) on the top partition panel trim panel (1) .
- Loosen screws (3)
.
- Loosen screws (1) .
- Release the expanding rivets (arrow) on the top partition panel trim panel (2)
.
- Feed out the seat belts (2) .
- Removing the trim panel of the top partition panel (1) .
