Install exhaust system

• Version A: 

  Open the weld seam (1)  with a conventional tool.

• Remove the current clamp (2)  .
  NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
• Check all rubber mounts (1)  of the exhaust system for damage and replace, if necessary.

• Guide in and install the exhaust system with three people.
• Replace nuts (2)  .

  Parts:  Nuts

• Tighten nuts (2)  .
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Rear silencer to bumper bracket/body
  Nut M8 Replace nut.	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Connect the connector (1)  on the left and right.

  The connectors (1)  must engage audibly.

• Position the exhaust bracket.
• If fitted: 

  Position the ground strap (2)  .

  Tighten down screw (1)  .

  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Exhaust system to rear axle carrier
  M8x25 Replace screw.	Tightening torque	28 Nm

• Tighten down screw (3)  .

  M8x25 Replace screw.	Tightening torque	28 Nm

• Position the holder of the exhaust system (2)  .
• Tighten down screw (1)  .

• Version A: 

  If necessary, replace clamp (1)  .

  Parts:  Circlip

• Connect exhaust system to catalytic converters.
• Tighten the clamp (1)  on the left.

  cl. If necessary, replace clamp.	Tightening torque	55 Nm

• Version A: 

  If necessary, replace clamp (1)  .

  Parts:  Circlip

• Tighten the clamp (1)  on the right.
