Remove exhaust system

- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.

Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE CONNECTING SUPPORT FROM THE TUNNEL .

- Refer to IF INSTALLED: REMOVING THE TORSION STRUT ON THE RIGHT AND LEFT WHERE REQUIRED .

- Unclip the trim (1)
from the bumper cover (2)
using a suitable plastic wedge and remove it towards the rear.
- With optional equipment SA715 M Aerodynamic package:
Unclip the trim (1) from the bumper cover using a suitable plastic wedge and remove it towards the rear.
NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical. - Loosen screws (1) .
- Remove the trim (2)
for the exhaust tailpipe.
- Loosen the clamp (1)
on the left.
- Loosen the clamp (1)
on the right.
- Loosen the screw (1)
the left of the rear axle support.
- Loosen the screw (1)
the right of the rear axle support.
- Unlock and detach the connector (1) on the left and right.
- Loosen nuts (2) .
- Guide out and remove the exhaust system with the help of three persons.
