If installed: Remove the torsion strut on the right and left where required

Remove the right torsion strut 

• Remove screws (arrows).
• Guide the tank cover (1)  out.

  NOTE: Description is for left component only.
  Procedure on the right side is identical.
• Loosen screws (1)  .
• Remove torsion strut (2)  .

If it is a dual-branch exhaust system: Remove the left torsion strut 

• Remove screws (arrows).
• Thread out the tank cover (1)  on the left and remove.
