Installing the rear bumper cover

Check 

• Check the detents (1) and (2) of the trim on the bumper cover for damage.
• Check the detents (arrows) on the bumper cover for damage.

Result 

» The detents (1) or (2) are damaged.

Measure 

• Replace the trim on the bumper cover.

Result 

» The detents (arrows) are damaged.

Measure 

• Replace the bumper cover.
• Position the bumper cover.
• Connect and lock the connector in the marked area.

• Clip the bumper cover into the detents (2).
• Clip the bumper cover into the detents (1).

• Clip the bumper cover into the detents (arrows).
• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Rear bumper cover to guide
  Hexagon screw	tightening torque	2.5 Nm

• Tighten down screw (1).

• Tighten down screw (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Rear bumper cover to body
  Oval-head screw	tightening torque	2.5 Nm
