Installing the radial shaft seal (rotor shaft)

• Position the sleeve 5 A3B 919  part A on the rotor shaft all the way to the stop.
• Oil the inside and outside of radial shaft seal (1) lightly.
• Push the radial shaft seal (1) over the sleeve 5 A3B 919 part A and position it as shown.

• Using a plastic hammer (1) and mandrel 5 A3B 939  part A, strike radial shaft seal up to the stop.
• Mandrel 5 A3B 939  part A must rest around the housing without any gaps.
• If necessary, strike mandrel 5 A3B 939  part A again with the plastic hammer.

• Oil the inside and outside of dust guard ring (1) lightly.
• Push the dust guard ring (1) over the sleeve 5 A3B 919 part A and position it as shown.

• Mount part B on part A of mandrel 5 A3B 939  .

• Using plastic hammer (1) and mandrel 5 A3B 939  part A and part B, strike the dust guard ring up to the stop.
• Mandrel 5 A3B 939  part B must rest around the housing without any gaps.
• If necessary, strike mandrel 5 A3B 939  part A and part B again with the plastic hammer.
