NOTE:
A second person must be available to the person performing the task for the entire duration
of the repair process.
The second person has the following tasks:
Check that the bonding surfaces are cleaned properly.
Check of correct installation of the pressure compensation element.
Check that the special tools are handled as prescribed.
Check of correct repair in accordance with the repair instructions.

- Remove the pressure compensation element (1) using scraper 0 495 102 (11 4 470) .
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The bonding surface must be free of adhesive residue, greases and cleaning agents.
The bonding surface must be free of adhesive residue, greases and cleaning agents.
- Remove any coarse residue of the adhesive from bonding surface (1) using scraper 0 495 102 (11 4 470).
- Vacuum opening (2).
- Remove any fine residue of the adhesive from bonding surface (1) with the cleaning agent.

- Dry bonding surface (1) with a clean, lint-free cleaning cloth.
- Use the two person principle to check bonding surface (1) for damage (e.g. scratches).
- If bonding surface (1) is damaged, replace the lid of the brush compartment.
