Installing the headlining (equipment specification with sliding/tilting sunroof)
- Check the headlining for faulty or missing clips.
- Replace faulty or missing clips and install in the headlining.
- Adjust the backrest of the driver's and the front passenger seat all the way back.NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Fold the headlining .
Damage to the headlining. If necessary, the headlining must be replaced .- Carry out tasks with a second person to assist.
- Support the headlining at the front and back.
- Install the headlining (1) with an support person and secure it with the clip (2).
- Secure headlining (1) in the marked areas with clips (2). Ensure a correct fit in the process.
- Secure the headlining (3) with the clips (2) and the expanding rivets (1).
- Install the expanding rivet (1).
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Headlining Tightening torque 1.5 Nm - Install the cover (2) and tighten the bolts (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Cover, striker Tightening torque 2.0 Nm - Install the cover (1).
- Install the coat hook (1).
