Install rear trim panel
- Check the clips (1) on the side trim panel (2) for damage and replace, if necessary.
Partially installing the Bowden cable for the convertible top compartment lid
- Check the detents on the trim (1) for damage and replace if applicable.
- Clip Bowden cable (2)
into trim (1)
in the arrow direction.IMPORTANT: The Bowden cable (2) must snap in audibly by pulling in the arrow direction.
- Clip Bowden cable (1) into lock (2) .
- Connect and lock all the connectors of the wiring harness (2)
on the rear side trim panel (1)
.
- Guide the safety belt into the rear side trim panel (1) .
- Correctly position the rear side trim panel (1) and clip into the clamps (3) .
- Clip in the rear side trim panel (1) with the clips (2) .
- Feed the rear side trim panel (1) into the door weather strip.
NOTE:
Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Position the safety belt and tighten the screw (2) .

- Replace the screw (1)
