- Route all cables without abrasions, do not trap and crush.

- Replace the screws (1)
and sleeves (2)
on the cylinder head cover (3)

- Feed in and install the seal (1)
on the cylinder head cover (2)

- Check the sealing ring (1) on the oil return line (2) for damage.
- If necessary, replace the oil return line (2)

- Insert and install the cylinder head cover (1)

- Ensure that the cylinder head cover (1)
is installed correctly in the marked
area on both
the high pressure pump brackets (2)
.
The cylinder head cover (1) must not be in the marked area on both the high pressure pump brackets (2) .

- Tighten all the screws in the sequence (1) to (21) on the cylinder head cover (A) .
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Tighten all the screws in the sequence (1) to (21) on the cylinder head cover (A) .

- Feed in and install the holder (3) for the differential pressure sensors.
- Tighten the screws (2) .

- Secure clamps (1) .
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (2) for the injectors and the ignition coils.
- Secure the clamp (1) .
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (4) for sensor system 2.
- Secure clamps (3)

- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (3)
for sensor system 2.
Locks (2) must engage audibly.
- Connect and lock the connector (1)
to the exhaust camshaft sensor.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (2)
for sensor system 2.
The locks (arrows) must engage audibly.
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (2) for sensor system 2 .
- Secure clamps (1)

- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (3) for sensor system 2.
- Secure clamps (2) .
- Connect and lock the connector (1)
on the intake camshaft sensor.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
