Notes on threaded chassis (M4 GTS only)
The BMW M4 GTS features a threaded chassis with the following range of adjustments:
- Vehicle height
- Shock absorber: One rebound and two compression stages
The coilover kit can thus be adjusted for different route profiles and the different requirements of the driver.
The factory setting is optimal for both driving in road traffic as well as for operation on the race track and was optimized for the North loop of the Nurburgring.
The chassis has two preset setups:
- Road setup/North loop of Nurburgring = factory setting for operation in road traffic
- Racetrack setup = setting for operation on a racetrack only
Attention!
For operation in traffic, the factory settings (road setup) must be used!
