Removing and installing/replacing oil suction pump (S55 engine)
IMPORTANT:
Aluminium screws/bolts must be replaced each time they are released
.
Aluminium screws/bolts are permitted with and without color coding (blue).
For reliable identification:
Aluminium screws/bolts are not magnetic .
Jointing torque and angle of rotation must be observed without fail (risk of damage) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove OIL SUMP .
Release screw (1).
Oil suction pipe must be detached to remove exhaust turbocharger return line for cylinders 4 to 6.
Release screw (1).
The drive shaft (2) is removed with the oil suction pump.
Release screws (1).
Release screw (1) by 180°.
Release screw (1).
Remove oil suction pump rearwards.
Installation:
Position drive linkage (2) in oil pump.
Insert screw (1).
Tightening torque 11 41 3AZ .
Attach oil suction pump to screw (1).
Insert screw (1).
Tightening torque 11 41 3AZ .
Insert bolts (1).
Tightening torque 11 41 5AZ .
Position oil suction pump in oil return pipe of exhaust turbochargers 4 to 6.
Insert screw (1).
Tightening torque 11 41 4AZ .
Assemble engine.
