- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

- Loosen screws (1) .
- Unlock and detach the clamps (2) with special tool 2 450 405
- Unclip the clip (3)
with a suitable tool.
- Loosen screw (1) .
- Unlock and detach the clamps (2) with special tool 2 450 405
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Loosen screws (2) .
- Guide out the gas generator (3)
with the folding pack and remove it.
