11 12 115 Removing and installing/replacing corrosion protection cover: Notes

Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER
Remove the cover in the left engine compartment
Remove the right cover in the engine compartment
Refer to REMOVING TRAILING LINK AT SPRING STRUT DOME .
Remove the sound insulation on the bulkhead upper part at the center

Follow-up work

Install the sound insulation on the bulkhead upper part at the center
Install tension strut on spring strut dome. Jointing torque: 56 Nm, angle of rotation: 90°
NOTE: Replace screws.
Install the cover in the engine compartment on the left
Install the cover in the engine compartment on the right
