Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL
- Disconnect the battery earth lead
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER
- Refer to Removing the front underbody protection
- Refer to DRAIN THE COOLANT FROM THE LOW-TEMPERATURE COOLING SYSTEM
- Refer to UNINSTALL COVER FOR THE DME CONTROL UNIT
- Refer to REMOVE THE INTEGRATED POWER SUPPLY MODULE (PDM)
- Refer to Disconnect the connector from the DME control unit and from the power distribution module (PDM)

- Remove the sound insulation on the bulkhead upper part at the center

Follow-up work

- Install the sound insulation on the bulkhead upper part at the center
- Install tension strut on spring strut dome. Jointing torque: 56 Nm, angle of rotation: 90° NOTE: Replace screws.
