Removing and installing/replacing distribution box (front) (X6 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Clamp off BATTERY LEAD FROM NEGATIVE CONNECTION POINT .
• Remove GLOVE BOX .
• Remove LOWERING INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 61 14 1AZ .

Maneuver out power distribution box together with bracket (2) from instrument panel mounting bracket (3).

Maneuver out power distribution box together with bracket (2) in direction of footwell

Unlock and disconnect all plug connections in area (1).

Remove power distribution box together with bracket (2).

Installation note: 

Make sure all plug connections are correctly locked.

Replacement: 

Release catches (1).

Remove power distribution box (2) from bracket (3).
