Removing and installing/sealing right throttle body (S63 B44 T 2) (X6 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Switch off ignition.
• Remove right INTERCOOLER .

Removal: 

Release clamp (1).

Remove charge air hose (2).

Release screws (1).

Unlock connector (2) and remove.

Remove throttle body (3).

Preparation for installation: 

Replace sealing ring (1) of throttle body (2).

Check plug connections for coolant residue. If necessary, blow clean plug connection with compressed air.

Installation: 

Install throttle body (3) and fix in place using bolts (1).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 13 54 1AZ .

Attach connector (2). Connector (2) must snap audibly into place.

Mount charge air hose (2).

Tighten clamp (1).

Tightening torque 13 71 7AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install right CHARGE AIR COOLER .
