11 13 000 Removing and installing, sealing or replacing the oil sump (PHEV)

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Remove intermediate flange.

Release screws (1, 2, 3).

Disconnect plug connection (1) on oil level sensor.

Unclip the oil-level sensor cable at points (2, 3).

Remove holder (4).

Release screws on holder (5).

Release bolts along line (1).

Remove oil sump in downward direction.

Installation:

IMPORTANT: Clean the thread and sealing surfaces.

Installation note:

Replace gasket (1).

Position the oil sump.

Tighten screws along the line (1).

Tightening torque: 11 13 3AZ .

Connect plug connection (1) on oil-level sensor.

Clip the oil-level sensor cable at points (2, 3).

Tighten holder (4).

Tighten screws on holder (5).

Installation note:

Pay attention to the different screw lengths.

Position the intermediate flange.

Tighten down screws (1, 2, 3).

Tightening torque 24 00 1AZ .

Tightening torque 24 00 2AZ .

Tightening torque 24 00 3AZ .

Installation note:

Assemble engine.
