37 14 521 Replacing front left ride-height sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Release coolant expansion tank
. See 17 11 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COOLANT EXPANSION TANK (M57T2, N57 D30 O/T/S 0/1)
, 17 11 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COOLANT EXPANSION TANK (N62TU, N52K, N54, N55)
or 17 11 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COOLANT EXPANSION TANK (N63, S63)
and place to one sideNOTE: Level switch can slip out when coolant expansion tank is removed.
Release screw (1).
Installation:
Align ride-height sensor holder by means of lug (2) to opening under screw (1).
Tightening torque 37 14 1AZ .
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release nut (2) and disconnect jointed rod.
Installation:
Sensor lever (3) must point from ride-height sensor to left front wheel.
Replace self-locking nut.
Tightening torque 37 14 4AZ .
Release screws (1) and remove holder (2).
Tightening torque 37 14 3AZ .
After installation:
- Carry out RIDE-HEIGHT CALIBRATION
- Check HEADLIGHT ADJUSTMENT , correct if necessary
