When replacing the module bracket on the front door: Remount components

Preliminary work 

• Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR .
• Refer to REMOVING THE MIRROR TRIANGLE COVER .
• Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE STRIP FROM THE DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE MODULE BRACKET FROM THE FRONT DOOR .

Removing airbag sensor from the front door 

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
• Unlock the detent (2).
• Turn airbag sensor (3) in the arrow direction and remove.

Removing flat motor for the front power windows 

• Lift fleece (1) as shown.
• Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
• Loosen screws (3).
• Remove the flat motor (4).

Removing mid-range speaker from the front door 

• Disconnect plug connection (1).
• Loosen screws (2).
• Remove the mid-range speaker (3).

• Replace the module bracket on the front door.

Installing airbag sensor in the front door 

• Correctly position the airbag sensor (1) and turn it in the direction of the arrow until the detent (2) engages.
• Connect connectors (3) and lock.

Installing flat motor for front power windows 

• Correctly position the flat motor (4).
• Tighten down screws (3).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Drive for power windows
  screw	Tightening torque	3.5 Nm

• Connect connectors (2) and lock.
• Fold the fleece (1) downwards.

Installing the mid-range speaker in the front door 

• Correctly position the mid-range speaker (3).
• Tighten down screws (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Loudspeaker to front door
  screw	Tightening torque	1.9 Nm

• Connect connector (1).
