51 37 000 Removing and installing complete rear left or right power window regulator

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove inner weather strip. See 51 37 265 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING INNER WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP FOR DOOR WINDOW, REAR LEFT OR RIGHT .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 37 3AZ .

Raise the power window regulator (2) slightly and detach cable clip (3).

Move side window to the uppermost end position.

Installation note: 

Adjust cavity gap. See 51 37... ADJUSTING THE REAR LEFT AND RIGHT WINDOW CAVITY GAP .

Remove cover (1) and slacken underlying screw (2).

Tightening torque 51 37 1AZ .

Feed out cable clip (3).

Pull out power window regulator (1) towards top slightly.

Lift out cable holder (2) from power window regulator (1).

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Remove power window regulator (1).

Installation note: 

Run a function check.

After installation: 

Adjust rear door window. See 51 37 154 ADJUSTING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE WINDOW .
