Replacing pressure relief valve for rear axle differential clutch (AWD) (X2 xDrive 28i 2018-2023, X2 M35i 2019-2022)

Necessary preliminary work:
- Refer to REMOVING COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING HEAT SHIELD AT REAR .
Removal:
Loosen pressure relief valve (1) and remove clutch (2) on the rear axle differential.
Installation:
Replace pressure relief valve (1).
Parts: Pressure relief valve
Coat seal of pressure relief valve with oil.
Screw in pressure relief valve (1) by hand and tighten.
Tightening torque 33 10 6AZ .
Required follow-up work:
- Refer to INSTALLING THE REAR HEAT SHIELD .
- Refer to INSTALLING THE COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM .
- Carry out the hang-on clutch "Oil bleeding routine".
Service function -> Drivetrain -> Longitudinal torque distribution -> Bleeding
