63 12 140 Replace the left LED technology headlight

Necessary preliminary work:

Removal:

Unlock and remove cover (1).

Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unfasten screws (2).

Release screw (3).

Release screw (1).

Remove headlight (2) forwards.

Remounting control units/modules :

Remount front light electronics control unit, refer to: REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR LEFT XENON HEADLIGHT
Remount LED module for daytime driving lights, refer to: REPLACING THE LED MODULE FOR LEFT DAYTIME RIDING LIGHTS
Remount LED module direction indicator light, refer to: REMOVING AND INSTALLING LED MODULE OF LEFT TURN INDICATOR

Installation :

Thread in and position headlights (2).

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque, refer to: 63 12 1AZ .

Tighten screws (2).

Tightening torque, refer to: 63 12 1AZ .

Tighten screw (3).

Tightening torque, refer to: 63 12 1AZ .

Connect and lock plug connection (1).

Install cover (1) and lock against the direction of arrow.

Required follow-up work :

Install front bumper panel, refer to: FRONT BUMPER PANEL
Refer to: ADJUST HEADLIGHT .
