11 14 290 Removing and installing/replacing front acoustic cover (B48B)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove AIR DUCT
• Remove CHARGE AIR LINE

Removal: 

Cut through the acoustic cover (1) in the marked area.

Release all expanding rivets in marked areas.

Remove acoustic cover (1).

Installation: 

Check if the acoustic cover (1) is cut through in the marked area.

If necessary, cut through the acoustic cover (1) in the marked area.

Feed in the acoustic cover (1) and position.

Fit all expanding rivets in marked areas.

Required follow-up work: 

• Install CHARGE AIR LINE
• Install AIR DUCT
