51 11 157 Replacing front bumper trim

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove front BUMPER TRIM

Remove cover cap (1) for tow lug.

Remove BMW BADGE (2) .

Remove FRONT RADIATOR GRILLE (3) on left/right.

If necessary, remove HIGH-PRESSURE NOZZLE (4) of left/right headlight cleaning system.

Remove ornamental grille in bumper trim (side left or right) on left/right.

Remove MIDDLE TRIM GRILLE (6) .

Remove LICENSE PLATE HOLDER (7) .

If necessary, remove fog lamp (8) on left/right.

If necessary, remove side reflector or dummy part on left/right.
