52 14 017 Removing and installing/replacing seat frame for driver's seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove DRIVER'S SEAT .
Remove seat fabric . See 52 16 402 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT (SPORT) , 52 17 402 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT (COMFORT) or 52 14 402 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT (NORMAL/ELECTRIC)
Remove backrest frame . See 52 17 032 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BACKREST FRAME FOR DRIVER'S SEAT or 52 14 031 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BACKREST FRAME FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DRIVER'S SEAT on front seat

Release all clips.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clips.

Feed wiring harness (1) out of seat frame.

Open rivets (1) on left and right.

Remove securing strips (2) on left and right.

Release screws (3).

Tightening torque 52 10 6AZ .

Remove seat frame from seat rail.

NOTE: The new seat frame part contains all the drives.
