52 17 023 Removing and installing/replacing adjusting unit for thigh support on left or right front seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove seat cushion . See 52 17 402 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR DRIVER'S SEAT (COMFORT) or 52 17 404 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR PASSENGER FRONT SEAT (COMFORT) on front seat

Detach spring set (1).

Release screws (2) with nuts.

Unclip wiring harness (3).

Unlock plug connection (4) and disconnect.

Release trim (1) on clamps (2) and remove trim (1) downwards.

Release screws (1 and 2).

Remove thigh support (3).

Detach spring set (1) from thigh support (2).
