63 31 191 Replacing LED (fiber optic conductor) for rear door trim panel light (left or right)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR LEFT DOOR TRIM PANEL

Fiber optic conductor behind trim strip

Carefully detach fiber optic conductor (1) from LED module (3) (retainer).

Installation:

LED-module (3) must lock into position (light distribution).

Remove LED module (3) in direction of arrow from bracket (2).
Carefully pull LED module (3) from fiber optic conductor (1).

Installation:

Replace UPPER FIBER OPTIC CONDUCTOR if defective.

Replace FIBER OPTIC CONDUCTOR IN STORAGE COMPARTMENT if defective.
