63 31 191 Replacing LED (fibre optic conductor) for rear door trim panel light (left or right)

Necessary preliminary tasks 

Fibre optic conductor behind trim strip 

Carefully detach fibre optic conductor (1) from LED module (3) (retainer).

Installation: 

LED-module (3) must lock into position (light distribution).

Fibre optic conductor in storage compartment 

  1. Remove LED module (3) in direction of arrow from bracket (2).
  2. Carefully pull LED module (3) from fibre optic conductor (1).

Installation: 

Replace UPPER FIBRE OPTIC CONDUCTOR  if defective.

Replace FIBRE OPTIC CONDUCTOR IN STORAGE COMPARTMENT  if defective.
