51 24 137 Removing and installing/replacing Soft-Close System for lower rear lid

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove PANEL FOR TAILGATE .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (2) and feed out drive (3).

Tightening torque 51 24 7AZ .

Feed Bowden cable out of REAR LID LOCK .

Installation:

Make sure Bowden cable (1) is correctly positioned in rear lid.

Lay Bowden cable (1) without kinks.
