11 13 010 Removing and Installing/Replacing Upper Oil Sump Section (N63O1)

Special Tools Required:

11 9 240 .
11 4 470 .

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Drain Off ENGINE OIL .
LOWERING FRONT AXLE .
Remove LOWER OIL SUMP SECTION .
Remove OIL PUMP .
Release Supply/Return Lines On Oil Filter
Release Holders of Supply/Return Lines On Oil Sump
Detach Plug From Oil Pressure Switch

Unclip Wiring Harness On Oil Sump

Release Oil Filter Cover (1) with Special Tool 11 9 240 .

Tightening torque 11 42 1AZ .

Remove Oil Filter (1).

Release Bolts In Area of Line (2).

Tightening torque 11 13 2AZ .

Release Screws (1).

Release 4 Bolts On Transmission Side.

Installation Note:

Clean Gasket Debris From Sealing Surfaces with Special Tool 11 4 470 .

Replace Gasket.

Modify Oil Pressure Switch If Replacing Oil Sump.

Assemble Engine.
