63 12 140 Removing and installing (replacing) left headlight with LED technology

Necessary preliminary tasks

WARNING: Follow notes on HANDLING LED LIGHTS (HIGH-PERFORMANCE LED) .

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage
Perform the following operations carefully to avoid damage to the side wall, headlights and wiring harness.

Release screw (1) from front side panel.

Release screw (2) from headlight.

Tightening torque 63 12 2AZ .

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Unclip wiring harness (4).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage
Fully mask off front side panel in marked area (1) and headlight lens.

Release screws (1). Tightening torque 63 12 1AZ .

Press side wall (2) slightly to outer side and feed out headlight towards rear.

Installation note:

ADJUST headlight gap dimension to body by using knurled screws (1)
Adjust HEADLIGHTS .
