63 11 820 Replacing left cornering light LED module

Necessary preliminary tasks 

• Remove headlight  See 63 12 140 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) LEFT HEADLIGHT WITH LED TECHNOLOGY  or 63 12 143 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) RIGHT HEADLIGHT WITH LED TECHNOLOGY 

Attention! 

Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD PROTECTION) .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 63 11 3AZ .

Remove cornering light LED module (2).

Installation note: 

Gasket (3) for cornering light LED module (2) must not be damaged and must be installed free from grease.

Mount corning light LED module (2) precisely on the headlight.

Make sure pin housing (4) is correctly seated in pin housing (5).

Replacement: 

Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
