51 37 000 Removing and installing complete rear left or right side power window unit

Power window unit has no anti-trapping mechanism.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Remove foam material (1).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 37 4AZ .

NOTE: Replace self-locking screws.

Release bolt (1).

Tightening torque 51 37 5AZ .

Raise power window unit slightly.

Unclip cable connection (1).

Move power window unit (1) with electric switch in door trim panel to roughly half height and feed out power window in upward direction.

Installation: 

Reinstall power window unit (1) in half-opened position in body and move power window unit (1) with electric switch in door trim panel downwards again.

Disconnect electric motor (1) and cable clip (2).

Installation: 

Check function.

Adjust REAR SIDE WINDOW .
