51 16 040 Removing and installing/replacing housing on left or right exterior mirror (from 04.2014)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove RETAINING RING ON EXTERIOR MIRROR 

Unlock and disconnect plug connection on side repeater (1) and camera (2).

Release screws (3).

Fold in exterior mirror and maneuver out housing (4).

Replacement (depending on version): 

Swap over SIDE REPEATER .

Swap over CAMERA .
