66 54 005 Removing and installing control unit for night vision system

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead, refer to 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD
Remove safety information module, refer to 65 77 700 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) SAFETY INFORMATION MODULE

Disconnect plug connection (1), press lug (2) downwards and remove control unit (3) from module carrier.
