61 20 900 Disconnecting and connecting battery negative lead

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove battery cover or open right luggage compartment trim panel, refer to 61 21... REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING BATTERY COVER

Disconnect battery negative lead (1).

IMPORTANT: Cover battery negative terminal post and secure negative lead (1) at side.

Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ. Refer to BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
