17 11 370 Removing And Installing/Replacing Cooling Loop For Power Steering

Recycling: 

Catch and dispose of hydraulic fluid.

Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.

Draw off hydraulic fluid.

Installation: 

Top up hydraulic fluid.

Bleed power steering.

Check fluid level in power steering fluid reservoir; top up if necessary.

Unlock connection (1) on left and detach.

Unlock connection (1) on right and detach.

Remove module carrier (1) with radiator and A/C condenser from rubber mounts and push at bottom approx. 5 cm towards rear.

Installation: 

Rubber mounts fall out easily, ensure correct installation position.

Release retaining clip (1) on left.

Release retaining clip (1) on right.

Release screw and remove power steering cooling loop (2) towards bottom.
