66 54 010 Removing and installing complete night vision camera

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection)! See 61 35... NOTES ON ESD PROTECTION (ELECTRO STATIC DISCHARGE) .

Necessary preliminary tasks: Remove front bumper trim. See 51 11 156 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT BUMPER .

Disconnect plug connection (1). Disengage cable guide (2).

Gently lever out impact absorber (1) with special tool 00 9 317. Unscrew nuts (2). During installation, make sure impact absorber (1) is correctly seated.

IMPORTANT: Secure night vision camera (3) against falling down.

Release screw (1) and disengage tube (2) from mounting. Remove night vision camera (3) complete with holder.

IMPORTANT: Secure night vision camera (1) against falling down.

Disconnect hose connection (2) and unclip cable fastener. After installation, fill up with washer fluid.
