41 62 520 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Or Right Hinge For Rear Lid (Rear Lid Removed)

Release screws (1).
Tightening torque, see 41 62 3AZ in 41 62 REAR LID .
Remove hinge (2).
Adjust rear lid on the basis of the body gap dimensions . Refer to BODY GAP DIMENSIONS .
Replacing hinge only:
Remove gas-filled strut for rear lid. Refer to 51 24 300 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT GAS STRUT FOR REAR LID .
