11 43 000 Removing and Installing/Sealing Oil Dipstick Guide Tube (N73)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Drain engine oil. See 00 00 610 ENGINE OIL SERVICE (N73)
- Remove center of assembly partition wall. See 51 71 085 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTER OF ASSEMBLY COMPARTMENT BULKHEAD
- Remove reinforcement plate. See 31 10 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REINFORCEMENT PLATE
- Remove lower section of steering spindle. See 32 31 070 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LOWER SECTION OF STEERING SPINDLE
Disconnect air connection (1) on secondary valve.
Loosen screws (2).
Remove secondary valve (3).
Loosen screws (8).
Release secondary pipe (9) and lay to one side.
Detach high-pressure line (4). See 13 53 175 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ALL PRESSURE LINES (N73)
Release screw (7) and place solenoid valve (5) to one side.
Detach fuel lines (1) from holder (2).
Press fuel lines (1) downwards.
IMPORTANT:
Press fuel line downwards carefully, risk of damage

Release screw (1), twist oil guide tube (2) and lift out.
Installation:
Replace sealing ring on guide tube.
Apply light coat of oil to seal.
Tightening torque:11 43 1AZ. See 11 43 GUIDE TUBE, DIPSTICK
IMPORTANT:
Pay attention to routing of B+ lead.
The guide tube can only be removed if the secondary pipe has been detached.
Do not bend guide tube.
Assemble engine.
The guide tube can only be removed if the secondary pipe has been detached.

Assemble engine.
