66 54 010 Removing and Installing Complete Night Vision Camera

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front bumper trim See 51 11 156 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT BUMPER TRIM
Remove front underbody protection See 51 47 490 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION
Remove air duct for brake ventilation on left sides
Partially remove cooling air duct
Remove air duct (brake)

Unclip tube (1) from guide.

Disconnect associated plug connection.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Tightening torque 66 54 1AZ, see 66 54 NIGHT VISION CAMERA

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 66 54 1AZ, see 66 54 NIGHT VISION CAMERA

Disconnect hose connection (2) and remove holder with night vision camera (3).

After installation:

Fill up with washer fluid

Replacement only:

Replace night vision camera See 66 54 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE NIGHT VISION CAMERA
Using BMW scan tool, carry out coding/programming
Adjust night vision camera See 66 54 001 ADJUSTING NIGHT VISION CAMERA
