11 61 050 Removing And Installing Intake Air Manifold (N73)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove design cover.
Remove center of assembly partition wall. Refer to 51 71 085 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTER OF AASSEMBLY COMPARTMENT BULKHEAD .
Remove upper section of intake filter housing and air intake hose on left and right. Refer to 13 71 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT (OR RIGHT) INTAKE FILTER HOUSING (N73) .
Release ignition wiring harness. Refer to 12 51 100 REPLACING WIRING HARNESS SECTION FOR IGNITION COIL (N73) .

Disconnect plug connections on throttle assembly (1).

Detach engine vent hoses from pressure control valve (2).

Detach holder (3) for intake air manifold on left and right.

Disconnect plug connection on intake pipe pressure sensor (1) on left and right.

Release screws (2) along lines (3).

Remove intake air manifold towards top.

Installation:

Clean sealing faces for intake air manifold.

Replace seals for intake air manifold.

Check function of DME.

Check intake manifold for leaks.
