51 71 085 Removing And Installing Center Of Assembly Compartment Bulkhead

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove both air ducts for microfilter. Refer to 64 31 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT MICROFILTER AIR DUCT (AUTOMATIC A/C BASIC) and 64 31 031 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT MICROFILTER AIR DUCT (AUTOMATIC A/C HIGH) .

Release screw (1) on left/right and remove both fresh air ducts.

Pull off sealing strip (1).

Unfasten screws.

Place holder (2) with switch for engine hood contact to one side.

Remove bulkhead (3).

Installation:

Do not crush cable.

Check height adjustment of engine hood contact and correct if necessary.
